Seasonal allergies (hay fever) are annoying, but usually not a barrier to saving lives.

Medications

Antihistamines like Cetirizine, Loratadine, or Allegra are perfectly fine. You do not need to stop them.

Symptoms Matter

If you have a stuffy nose but can breathe easily, you can donate. However, if you have:

• Severe difficulty breathing
• An active asthma wheeze
• A sinus infection (green mucus/fever)

Then please wait until you feel better.
