Medical Disclaimer

Please read this medical disclaimer carefully to understand how to verify donor safety.

Last Updated: 26 June 2026

Operated by: VNest Technologies and Platforms Pvt. Ltd.

JeevanSeva is an educational resource and donor connection system.

This Medical Disclaimer explains the limitations of medical information on the JeevanSeva platform (“Platform”). By using this Platform, you acknowledge and agree that JeevanSeva does NOT provide medical advice or medical services.

1. No Medical Advice

All information, articles, guides, resources, calculators, charts, and chatbot answers available on the Platform are for **general informational and educational purposes only**.

No content on this site is intended to serve as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Platform.

2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Your use of this Platform, its search features, chatbot, or contact forms does NOT create a doctor-patient, physician-patient, or clinical relationship of any kind between you and JeevanSeva, VNest Technologies, or Sarva JeevanSeva Foundation.

⚠️ 3. MANDATORY TESTING AND CLINICAL PROCEDURES

Under national and international healthcare guidelines, any blood units collected from donors must undergo rigorous clinical testing before transfusion.

You agree that you and your medical provider must ensure:

  • Cross-Matching: Complete laboratory compatibility checks between donor and recipient blood must be performed by the receiving hospital.
  • Infectious Screening: The blood must be screened at certified laboratory blood banks for transfusion-transmitted infections (TTIs) including HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and Malaria.
  • Qualified Supervision: All blood collections and transfusions must take place under the active supervision of certified doctors and nurses in licensed healthcare environments.

Never accept, transfer, or attempt to transfuse blood privately or outside of a licensed medical bank environment.

4. Donor Health Declarations

Donors self-declare their medical conditions (such as diabetes, blood pressure, tattoos, medication history) during profile registration. These self-declarations are not verified in real-time by a medical officer.

A donor's physical capability and medical eligibility to donate blood must be evaluated by licensed medical personnel at the receiving blood bank or camp on the day of donation, using standardized pre-donation screening tools.

5. Reliance on Information

Any reliance on the information provided on the Platform, including blood compatibility matrices, eligibility criteria guides, or blog posts is solely at your own risk.

While we make reasonable efforts to verify our educational articles against official standards (such as WHO, NBTC, and Red Cross manuals), medicine is a dynamically evolving science, and standards change over time. Always consult with a licensed hematologist or physician for specific medical guidelines.
