All antibiotics are not treated equal. The rule depends on what you are treating.

Antibiotics for Infection

If you are taking Amoxicillin for a throat infection, you are Deferred. You must finish the course and wait 7 days to ensure the infection is gone.

Antibiotics for Acne

Drugs like Minocycline or Doxycycline taken long-term for clear skin are usually Accepted. Since there is no acute bacterial infection in your blood, you are safe to donate.
