How It Works

We use an apheresis machine to collect only your Red Cells. We return your plasma and platelets to you.

Who Can Do It?

• Blood Types: Usually O Negative, O Positive, B Negative are preferred.
• Weight/Height: Men must be >130 lbs/5'1", Women >150 lbs/5'5".
• Frequency: Every 16 weeks (112 days), instead of 8 weeks.
