Double Red Cell Donation (2RBC)
Feel like a super-donor? If you are big and strong, you can give TWO units of red cells in one sitting.
How It Works
We use an apheresis machine to collect only your Red Cells. We return your plasma and platelets to you.
Who Can Do It?
- Blood Types: Usually O Negative, O Positive, B Negative are preferred.
- Weight/Height: Men must be >130 lbs/5'1", Women >150 lbs/5'5".
- Frequency: Every 16 weeks (112 days), instead of 8 weeks.
