One of the unsung perks of blood donation is the health screening. Before every donation, a medical professional checks your vitals. This "mini-physical" can often detect silent issues.

What We Check (Free of Cost)

1. Hemoglobin (Hb): Detects Anemia (Iron deficiency).
2. Blood Pressure: Identifies undiagnosed Hypertension or Hypotension.
3. Pulse Rate: Checks for irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia).
4. Temperature: Detects underlying infections.

Post-Donation Lab Tests

After your blood is collected, it goes to the lab for rigorous testing (often worth thousands of rupees):

• Hepatitis B & C
• HIV I & II
• Syphilis
• Malaria

If any test comes back positive, we notify you confidentially and discard the blood. This early detection can be life-saving for the donor too.
